Hami melons are oblong and have netted yellow skins streaked with dark green. They have juicy, crisp, sweet pale apricot-colored flesh and contain a large seed cavity. They have a sweet and floral aroma. This is a type of muskmelon in which the seed originated in the Xingjiang area of China.
